Speaker: Laura Fennimore, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN
Dr. Laura Fennimore is an accomplished leader and educator with more than 35 years of experience in healthcare management. She is a professor of nursing at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing where she instructs and mentors graduate students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Health Systems Executive Leadership program. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is the program coordinator for the Nursing Education Minor and Certificate Program.
Session Description:
Nurses in Professional Development (NPDs) positions may come to their positions from a variety of pathways including clinical advancement and pursuit of advanced degrees in nursing education or nursing practice. This activity will encourage NPDs to assess their strengths and opportunities to enhance their own professional development and life-long learning in this unique specialty.
